Heavyweight multiple times. Johnson turned his success as a wrestler into a successful career on the screen, starring in movies such as The Mummy Returns (2001) as well as Tooth Fairy (2010). Some of his more recent productions were HBO Series Ballers. Additionally Johnson was a prominent character in the Fast & Furious series and Jumanji. In addition, he voiced Maui in Disney film Moana. Johnson's early years were spent travelling and watching his father fight in the ring. Johnson was a football player during the high school years. Johnson soon earned a full university scholarship at the University of Miami. Johnson earned his Bachelors of General Studies with degrees in both criminology, and the study of physiology.
