Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in TV. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for long and shortly after moved in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, including independent local films and commercials. Despite the small role, she found that acting was her passion. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's daytime soap in the role of Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men.
