Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. She has a good command of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father and mother of a Russian mother. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 that aired on German TV, changed her into the Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. After completing high school and college in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied acting classes in the HB Studios. However, she moved on to pursue improvised comedy at The Groundlings School. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. Her father moved her to New York's East Meadow York when she was thirteen year old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress who is best known for her character as the an ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She has had a recurring appearance on The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
